This northern Indian Garam Masala –includes cardamom, coriander, fennel, cinnamon and nutmeg, all considered to be warming spices. The bold green Malabar type cardamom from India is used for its floral and citrus notes. The mildly sweet and spicy coriander, blend very well with the earthy cumin and sweet anise fennel flavors. The characteristic woody and piney aroma of the organic black peppercorns and heat of the red ancho chili balance this delicious complex spice blend. Great for roasted meats, rices, vegetables and stews.
